Evensong

We made it out to our first Evensong service last night, at St. John's College chapel:

The words--taken primarily from the 1662 edition of the Book of Common Prayer and Coverdale's 1535 translation of the Psalms--were excellent, and the performance was spectacular. For a taste, check out this YouTube recording:

The service concluded with a rousing rendition of William Blake's "Hymn" (?), Jerusalem--rather different from the Waterboys version I am used to.

S thought "it was great," which is great, because it means we will go again.
